For those who prefer to avoid squatting — the elderly, pregnant women, people with osteoporosis — we offer gentle chiropractic care. Just as effective, no “click”.

How does it work?
We combine three techniques: Activator Method (a hand instrument that provides a measured mechanical pulse - more precise than by hand), SOT (Sacro-Occipital Technique in which wedge-shaped blocks under the pelvis allow the body weight to do the correcting work) and Logan Basic (light sustained contact pressure on the sacrum).
After the same thorough examination as with classical chiropractic, the practitioner will choose the most suitable technique for your situation.
What can you expect?
A session lasts 20-30 minutes and feels considerably calmer than classic chiropractic: no cracking noise, no fast movements. The Activator gives a short tap that hardly hurts. SOT treatments feel like lying quietly with light pressure.
After-effects are usually mild — sometimes a feeling of “reset” or mild fatigue.
Scientific substantiation
Research into the Activator method (Polkinghorn & Colloca et al.) shows comparable results to manual manipulation for low back pain. Ideally suited for patients where rapid manipulation is too stressful.
This is how a session goes
Each process is tailor-made, but this is what a typical course looks like — from first intake to pain-free and maintenance. You always know exactly where you stand.
Intake & comfort
Special attention to what you like. Especially for the elderly, pregnant women or after trauma — your comfort comes first.
Activator or SOT choice
Based on your research, we choose Activator (instrument), SOT (blocks under pelvis) or Logan (light contact pressure).
Treatment without cracking
Subtle pulse or slow correction — you hardly feel anything. No sudden movements, no sounds.
Evaluation & home advice
Effect evaluation and exercises that suit your mobility. No activity restrictions after this treatment.
Frequently asked questions
Is this less effective than squatting?
Similar for many complaints; sometimes a few more sessions are needed because the effect is more subtle per session.
Why would I choose this?
If you find manipulation exciting, are frail, pregnant or have osteoporosis.
Does the Activator really work or is it a gimmick?
The instrument delivers a controlled pulse with standardized force — more precise than manual.
Can children get this?
Yes, this is ideally suited for children.
Is this allowed during pregnancy?
Yes, SOT and Logan are especially popular among pregnant patients and can relieve complaints such as pelvic pain.
Safety profile is favorable — most classic contraindications are hardly applicable. Not suitable for active infections, fractures or malignancy at the treatment site.
